With this, Adani Group will now start spreading its roots in China as well. This work has been done through Adani Global Pte, Singapore, a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises.
Starting with supply chain solutions and project management
According to a regulatory filing, Adani Group plans to start its work in China through supply chain solutions and project management. Adani Enterprises said in the filing that Adani Global PTE, a Singapore-based step-down subsidiary, has established Adani Energy Resources Shanghai on September 2, 2024. The Shanghai-based company will be wholly owned by Adani Global PTE. Adani Group has not yet given details as to why this company has been opened.
The company will try its best to get big contracts
Adani Enterprises includes mining, road, airport, data center and water infrastructure business of Adani Group. The filing states that Adani Energy Resources Shanghai has been registered on September 2, 2024 under the Company Law of the People’s Republic of China. This company has not started its business there yet. But, it is believed that Adani Enterprises is going to make a lot of efforts to get big contracts there soon.
A subsidiary was also registered in Kenya for Nairobi Airport
Recently, Adani Enterprises also registered a subsidiary Airports Infrastructure PLC in Kenya. The company, which manages 7 airports in India, is now expanding its presence abroad. To get investment in this sector, a company named Global Airports Operator LLC was recently formed in Abu Dhabi. According to the information, Adani Group had submitted a proposal to the Kenyan government to invest in Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. This could become the first airport of Adani Group outside the country.
