They include swallowing too much air, eating too much salt or intolerance to certain carbohydrates or fructose.
Here are some things you can try to reduce gas
Eat healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, nuts and seeds
Do not limit your salt intake to more than 2,300 mg per day.

Avoid foods that typically upset your stomach.
Try yoga asanas that release trapped air.

eat more fiber
If bowel movements or other gastrointestinal symptoms persist for more than a few days during your period. So you should check with your health care provider.
