Fraud Loan Apps: Cases of online fraud are increasing rapidly in the country. Scammers are making people lose lakhs of rupees by committing online fraud. Meanwhile, such fake apps have been detected which make people victims of their fraud. According to the latest report of McAfee, in the last few months many fake loan apps have cheated people. They have easily lured them into a trap by luring them with a loan and then committed the fraud. These fake people steal personal information and bank details of app users, due to which the risk of fraud has increased. McAfee has identified 15 such fake loan apps, which have been downloaded by millions of people.
These 15 loan apps are very dangerous
According to Macfee’s report, 15 fake loan apps have been downloaded by about 8 million i.e. 80 lakh users. Most of the users are from Google Play Store. However, some of these apps have been removed from the store.
Do not give permission even by mistake
Some apps are still available in users’ phones. These fake people ask for many types of permissions when the app stalls. For this you will have to give access to messages, camera, microphone and location. But many people give permission for it without thinking. Once the app gets access, your important data including the one-time password required for banking can easily be stolen.
