ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Host: If we say that these days the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is in a tight spot, then it would not be wrong. PCB chief Mohsin Raza Naqvi has said that Pakistan will host the Champions Trophy 2025. It has also been claimed that the PCB will not support the hybrid model for the Indian team under any circumstances. But now former Pakistani cricketer Basit Ali has claimed that the future of the Champions Trophy 2025 is in the hands of BCCI secretary Jay Shah.
Serious allegations against BCCI
Basit Ali has alleged that the cricket boards of Australia and England have also bowed down before the BCCI. These boards will do only what Jay Shah will ask them to do and they all start wagging their tails in front of the BCCI. Basit Ali said – There are 5-6 such cricket boards, which start wagging their tails after hearing the orders of Jay Shah. If Shah says that the Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan, they will agree. On the other hand, if Shah talks about the hybrid model, then that decision will also be supported blindly.
Told IPL the root of the trouble
Basit Ali also alleged that because of IPL, cricket boards of Australia, England and New Zealand are forced to obey BCCI. Players earn crores of rupees annually from this league, so they do as BCCI says. The list of allegations does not end here as the former Pak cricketer claimed that not only players but BCCI also gives money to other cricket boards through IPL. Because of this money, Jay Shah’s words become a matter of stone for them.
