Yograj Singh On Arjun Tendulkar: Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s father and former cricketer Yograj Singh has always been in the news for his controversial statements. Recently, in an interview, he once again made headlines when he was asked a question about the future of Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar. Yograj Singh’s answer went viral very fast, in which he described Arjun Tendulkar as coal and said that in the right hands he can become Kohinoor.
Yograj Singh compared Arjun Tendulkar to Kohinoor
Yograj Singh said, “Have you seen a diamond in a coal mine? It is just coal… if you take it out, it is just a stone. If you put it in the hands of a good carver, it becomes the Kohinoor of the world. But if the same diamond goes into the hands of a person who does not value it, he ruins it.”
His statement has become a topic of much discussion in the cricket world. Yograj Singh also said that Arjun Tendulkar has talent, but he needs proper guidance and hard work. Along with this, he recalled Yuvraj Singh’s career and told how he helped his son to become a great cricketer.
Yograj said a big thing about his son Yuvraj
Yograj said, “Yuvraj hated me at one time. I was called by names like Hitler and Dragon Singh at home. My relatives also kept a distance from me and said that I should not have become a father. But today those same people praise me because Yuvraj himself said that there is magic in the hands of my father who created me.”
Yograj Singh has also attacked MS Dhoni
Apart from this, during the interview, Yograj Singh also targeted Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He said, “I will never forgive Dhoni. What he did to my son is now out in the open. He may be a great cricketer, but what he did to my son can never be forgiven in life.” On hearing this statement, a debate started on social media, because Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh were important members of the Indian cricket team at one time and have played together for more than a decade.
