Semolina Upma
To make semolina upma, first heat oil in a pan, now add mustard seeds and asafoetida. After this, add onion and tomato and fry it till it turns golden. Then add peas and carrots and fry for 2-3 minutes. When everything is cooked, then add semolina and keep stirring continuously.
When the semolina turns light golden, add water, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt as per taste and mix well. Now cover and cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes and then serve.
Semolina pudding
Apart from this, you can also make semolina pudding. This is a delicious dish, which is also considered beneficial for health. To make semolina pudding, first heat ghee in a pan, add semolina to it and keep stirring. When the semolina turns light golden, then add milk and some water to it and keep stirring slowly.
When the milk dries up a little, add sugar and cardamom powder to it and mix well. Now after this, add some dry fruits to it and let the halwa cook on low flame for 3 to 4 minutes. When it is cooked, take it out in a plate and serve it.
Semolina Dhokla
Semolina dhokla is a delicious and healthy snack. You can make it for breakfast or in the evening. To make it, first mix semolina and curd and keep it aside for 30 minutes. Now add turmeric powder, baking soda, salt as per taste and mix everything. Now grease a Hello Dhokla steamer with a little oil.
