Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman FIR: An order has been given to register an FIR against Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. In the allegations made by Janadhikar Sangharsh Parishad (JSP) in the court against the Finance Minister, it has been said that the Finance Minister of the country has forcibly extorted money through electoral bonds. Although the hearing of this case has been postponed till October 10, but this case can become an issue against the Union Minister of the country before the assembly elections of some states.
What’s in the complaint – know the whole matter
JSP co-president Adarsh Iyer said in the petition that the Finance Minister has resorted to extortion through electoral bonds through intimidation. Now, after a petition related to this matter, the People’s Representative Court of Bengaluru has taken action against the Finance Minister. In the year 2023, the electoral bond scheme was challenged before the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court gave its decision after listening to the four petitioners and knowing their side. The Supreme Court not only considered the electoral bond scheme unconstitutional but also banned it completely. Electoral bonds or electoral bonds were introduced in the year 2018 and the Supreme Court order came against it in 2024.
Where will FIR be filed against the Finance Minister
Hearing the petition of Adarsh Iyer, the People’s Representative Court of Bengaluru has ordered the Tilak Nagar Police Station of Bengaluru to register an FIR against the Finance Minister. JSP co-president Adarsh Iyer had approached the 42nd ACMM Court last year i.e. in April 2023 in the matter of extortion through electoral bonds.
A complaint was made against the Finance Minister and other leaders as well.
The petitioner had complained against BJP national president JP Nadda, then BJP Karnataka president Nalin Kumar Kateel, BY Vijayendra. Along with this, he had also made allegations against ED officials.
