PF Claim Settlement: In the last 10 years of Modi government, EPFO ​​has received more than 8 crore applications for Provident Fund Claim Settlement, in which close to 6 crore claims have been settled. After provident claim settlement, EPFO ​​account holders have been paid a total amount of Rs 4.31 lakh crore.

Responding to this question, Minister of State for Labor and Employment Shobha Karandalaje said that in the last 10 years till 7 March 2025, EPFO ​​has received an application for a total of 8,02,09,323 claims for Provident Fund Settlement in the last 10 years, out of which a total of 60,000,923 claims have been settled. And after this settlement, the EPFO ​​member was paid Rs 4,31,513.46 crore.

The Labor Minister said that when the EPFO ​​launched the Kovid-19 Advanced Facility Corona after the knock of the Korona epidemic, a total of 3,10,79,861 applications were received for Provident Fund with 2019-20 to 2024-25, including 2,55,69,39,397 Cleans in which the applications were sought by the accounts. 54,162.12 crore rupees have been paid as advance amount. Tell you that this scheme was launched during this lockdown. In his written reply, the Labor Minister told the House that in the last 10 years, the number of EPFO ​​members has increased from 11.78 crores to 32.56 crore.
