Dinesh Karthik and Deepika Pallikal first met during a marathon race. Deepika herself confirmed this in an interview given to IANS. After that, they met during a training session in the gym. Both of them had the same fitness coach. Dinesh was often surrounded by discussions and media, due to which Deepika was initially hesitant to get into a relationship with him. Then gradually, the closeness between them started increasing.
Proposal, then engagement and marriage in 2013
Dinesh Karthik proposed to Deepika Pallikal during her training session in London. Deepika says that that very moment made her crazy about this Indian cricketer. They dated each other for some time and finally got engaged in November 2013. About 2 years after the engagement, they converted this relationship into marriage in August 2015. Dinesh has said in many interviews and social media posts that Deepika’s arrival has improved his life. Let us tell you that the couple also has 2 twin sons, who were born in October 2021.
