Dhanush angry over Nayanthara and Netflix
Dhanush’s lawyer wrote in the statement – ‘My client is the producer of the film and he knows where he has spent every single penny for the production of the film. Your client has stated that my client has not appointed anyone to shoot behind the scenes and this statement is baseless. Your client will have to provide hard evidence of this.
He further wrote – His client found the opposition’s submission vague because it claimed that the BTS footage belonged to the person who recorded it. He further said that the clip belonged to his client as a filmmaker. Advise your client to remove the material infringing my client’s copyright on the film ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ within 24 hours by using it in your client’s documentary ‘Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale’, failing which my Client will be forced to initiate appropriate legal action against your client and Netflix India, including but not limited to seeking damages up to Rs 10 crore.’
