DU Admissions: Mop-up round is being organized to fill the vacant seats in undergraduate courses of 16 colleges in Delhi University (DU). This process will start today, September 30, at 5 pm. Students will get time till 11:59 pm on October 2 to select the college and course of their choice. After this, colleges will admit students for these vacant seats on the basis of CUET merit.
The application process of students selected under the mop-up round will run from October 3 to October 5 at 5 pm. During this time, the colleges will complete the verification process of the application forms and give approval for the admission of the students. Students will have to ensure their admission by paying the fees by 5 pm on 6th October.

In this mop-up round, Aditi College, Bhagini Nivedita College, Bharati College, Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences for Women, Institute of Home Economics, Kalindi College, Lady Irwin College, Laxmibai College, PGDAV Evening College, Shaheed Rajguru College, Shyamlal College, These include Shyamlal Evening College, Swami Shraddhanand College, Vivekananda College, Zakir Hussain College and Zakir Hussain Evening College.

A large number of seats are vacant in these colleges. In Aditi College, 10 to 35 seats are vacant for various combinations of BA, Hindi Honors, Social Work, and Journalism. In Bhagini Nivedita College, 44 seats for Hindi, 40 for Physics Honors and 74 for B.Com are vacant. There are 51 vacant seats for Hindi Honors and 15 vacant seats for Maths Honors in Bharti College. There are 140 seats available for B.Sc Home Science and 52 seats for B.Sc Honors Home Science in Institute of Home Economics.

In Lady Irwin College, 87 seats are vacant in two courses of Home Science, in Shyamlal College, 33 seats are vacant for Economics Honors and 26 seats are vacant for Hindi. In Swami Shraddhanand College, 75 seats for B.Sc. Physical Science (with Chemistry) and 152 seats for B.Com have not been filled. Students are advised to apply on time for the course and college of their choice, as these seats may fill up quickly.
