Bank Holidays: The year 2024 is about to end and only 15 days are left for the year 2025 to begin. In the last month of this year, December, 17 holidays were scheduled in banks and half of these holidays have already been completed. Now in the coming 15 days, you will have to make a lot of plans to get your bank’s work done. There will be bank holidays in many banks of the country on different dates in different states.
Reserve Bank of India announces bank holidays every year and details of holidays of every month are included in it. Based on the bank holiday list of RBI, you can know here when the holidays will be there in the banks in the coming days of December.
Know on which day and date there will be bank holidays
18th December That is, banks remained closed in Meghalaya on Wednesday on the death anniversary of U Soso Tham.
19th December That is, banks in Goa are closed on Thursday on the occasion of Goa Liberation Day.
24th December That means banks will remain closed in Mizoram, Nagaland and Meghalaya on Thursday, the eve of Christmas.
25th December That means banks will remain closed across India on Wednesday on the occasion of Christmas.
26th December That means bank holiday in some states on Thursday due to Christmas celebrations.
27th December That is, banks are closed in some places on Friday due to Christmas celebrations.
30th December That means banks are closed in Meghalaya on Monday on the occasion of U Kiang Nangbah.
31st December That is, banks are closed in Mizoram and Sikkim on Tuesday due to New Year’s Eve/Losong/Namsung.
Apart from this there are also weekly holidays
Banks will remain closed on the remaining Sundays in December i.e. 22, 28, 29 December due to weekly holiday i.e. Saturday-Sunday.
