David Miller On T20 World Cup 2024 Final Catch: If David Miller had not been caught in the final of T20 World Cup 2024, perhaps Team India would not have won the title of the tournament. In the last over of the match, South African batsman David Miller was caught by Suryakumar Yadav on the ball of Hardik Pandya. Now Miller remembered that catch. Miller looked sad remembering the catch.
Regarding the catch, the African batsman said that he was not expecting a full toss ball. Apart from this he said that the game is not good for everyone. Miller said he felt like he had let his country down.
Speaking on ESPNcricinfo, Miller said, “The game is not fair to everyone. I wouldn’t have done anything different on that ball, just accept it for better timing. I was not really expecting a full toss. It was always in my mind. There is a full toss, but it surprised me and I misunderstood it, but it was a light wind which was coming towards us.
Miller continued, “So the margins are very slim. It was really disappointing. I thought I did enough. I knew it was going to be difficult. You know, after you hit it, you realize, you know. “Thought I had done enough but it stopped and the rest is history.”
Miller further said that he felt that he had shown his country down. He further said, “Frustration, disappointment, failure. All these negative things come to your mind. This was the moment for me to win the match. But it was not in my power to do so. I felt that I had let the country down, I Letting myself down and letting my teammates down was a tough moment to swallow.”
