Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has changed the dates of personality test (interview) of Civil Services Examination 2024. This amendment has been made in the interview dates due to Delhi Assembly elections. The official notice in this regard is available on upsc.gov.in website, where candidates can check it.
These are the new dates of the interview
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has changed the date of personality test of Civil Services Examination 2024. Earlier this personality test was scheduled on 5 February 2025, but now it will be conducted on 8 February 2025. This change has been made due to Delhi Assembly elections.
2845 candidates will give interview
A total of 2845 candidates will appear in the personality test of Civil Services (Main) examination. The personality test will be conducted in two sessions. Reporting for the morning session will be at 9 am, while reporting for the afternoon session will be at 1 pm.
This is written in the official notice
The official notice clarifies that ‘Due to the notification of Delhi Assembly elections on 05.02.2025, the Personality Test of Civil Services Examination 2024 scheduled on 05.02.2025 will now be held on Saturday, 08 February 2025.’
Rent will be reimbursed
Apart from this, reimbursement of travel fare will also be given to the candidates participating in the interview. This reimbursement will be limited to second/sleeper class railway fare (Mail Express) only.
Interview is taking place for 1056 posts
A total of 1056 posts will be filled under this recruitment process. The registration process started on 14 February 2024 and will continue till 5 March 2024. The main examination was conducted in two shifts on 20, 21, 22, 28 and 29 September 2024.
