New Year Gifts: Chennai’s Surmount Logistics Solutions showered gifts on its employees on the occasion of Christmas. Seeing and appreciating the hard work of its staff, the company gave a series of gifts like Tata Tiago, Royal Enfield Bullet, Honda Activa scooter. These gifts were given to about 20 employees in the company so that they could be motivated and they continued to work with the same hard work and dedication.
Car worth Rs 5 lakh as gift
The vehicles include Tata Tiago’s entry level variant Its price starts from Rs 76,684. Denzil Ryan, managing director of Surmount Solutions, active in the logistics sector, said in his statement that we did this to motivate our employees. He says that only if the employees are happy they will be able to work well and if the work is done well then the company will also be able to achieve its target easily.
Some are giving SUV and some are giving Mercedes.
Earlier, a pharmaceutical company of Haryana had also given 15 SUVs to its employees as Diwali gift. Another Chennai-based firm, structural steel design and detailing company Team Detailing Solutions, gifted 28 cars and 29 motorcycles to its staff earlier this year. These included cars and bikes from Hyundai, Tata, Maruti Suzuki, Mercedes-Benz and TVS Motors. Apart from these, a tea estate in Tamil Nadu also gifted 15 Royal Enfield motorcycles worth Rs 2 lakh to its workers.
Trend made of expensive gifts
Nowadays, there is a trend of giving cars and bikes as gifts to employees. It started in the year 2015, when Surat diamond merchant Savji Dholakia gifted 491 cars and 200 flats to his employees as Diwali bonus. In the year 2023 also, he gifted about 600 cars to the employees of his company Hare Krishna Exports.
