PCB Ready To Make Adjustment Champions Trophy 2025: With each passing day, Champions Trophy 2025 is coming closer, but it is not clear where Team India’s matches will be played in the tournament? The Indian team has not yet agreed to tour Pakistan for the tournament, keeping this in mind the Pakistan Cricket Board is now seen kneeling down.
Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board was adamant that the matches of all the teams including India in the Champions Trophy would be played in Pakistan only, because Pakistan is the host of the tournament. But now seeing the attitude of Team India, the Pakistan Board seems to be ready to make changes.
According to news agency ‘PTI’, Pakistan Cricket Board has agreed to make changes. It was told in the report that India’s matches in the tournament can be played in Sharjah or Dubai.
The source told PTI, “The PCB feels that if the Indian government does not approve the Pakistan tour, then there can be some changes in the schedule, as there is every possibility that India will play its matches in Dubai or Sharjah.”
On the other hand, Pakistan Cricket Board is insisting on ICC to release the schedule of the tournament by next week. Regarding the schedule, the source said, “The PCB has discussed with the ICC the temporary schedule which they sent a few months ago and they want the same schedule to be announced on November 11.”
However, official information regarding this hybrid model has not come yet. Earlier, Pakistan was also the host of the Asia Cup played in 2023, but Team India had not toured Pakistan and in that case Team India’s matches would be played in Sri Lanka.
