Rajiv Shukla reacted on the issue of India-Pakistan and Champions Trophy. Speaking to ANI, he said, “Currently talks are going on. Will let you know when everything is finalized. We will take a decision considering the situation. The safety of the players is the top priority for us. Hybrid model is also an option and there are other options too. Talks are still going on.
Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi has also reacted on the Champions Trophy issue. He has said that it is not right to link cricket with politics. Afridi has shared a post on X regarding BCCI. Talking about Pakistan Cricket Board, it has not taken the final decision yet. But at present it does not seem to be ready for the hybrid model. However, official information has not been received on this yet. Everything will become clear after the ICC meeting also.
Let us tell you that Pakistan tried its best to invite Team India. But BCCI refused to go to Pakistan citing security reasons.
