Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has invited applications for CGPSC State Service Exam-2024. CGPSC is inviting applications from December 1 to fill 246 posts this year. This process will continue till December 30. After this there will be preliminary examination in February. The applying candidate must have a degree or previous qualification from any university or institute.
Also, only people between 21 to 28 years of age will be able to apply for recruitment. The age limit will be counted from January 1, 2024. However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Backward Class will have age relaxation of 5 years. At the same time, ex-servicemen and government employees will also be given age related benefits as per the notification of the state government.
What is the selection process?
This examination will be held in three phases and any candidate will be selected only after passing all three phases. The first is the preliminary examination. After this, those who pass the Mains or Main examination and then that too will be called for interview.
The examination will be held in two phases
The preliminary examination will be conducted in two shifts between 10 to 12 in the morning and 3 to 5 in the afternoon. In this examination, youth will have to answer 100 questions related to General Studies and Aptitude Assessment. After this, there will be Mains or Main examination and finally after passing the interview, the selected candidates will pass the examination of Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission and start serving the state.

The youth applying will first have to go to the official website of the Commission and click on the link of State Service Exam 2024. A new page will open for all the candidates in which they will have to enter the details related to their registration. After submitting it, you will have to fill the application form and submit the application fee.
When will the preliminary exam be held?
After applying from 1st to 30th December, the correction window will be open from 31st December 2002 to 2nd January 2025. The youth applying in this can correct their selected mistakes. Then the preliminary examination will be held on 9 February 2025 while the mains examination will be held on 26, 27, 28 and 29 June.
