Cert in Issues High Risk Warning for Chrome Users Over Multiple Vulnerabilites

These flaws will not only affect Windows and Linux users, but Mac users can also be affected by this. The Government of India has issued high risk warning regarding this. The government agency Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-in) has placed this warning in the serious category.

Cert-in has released warning in Chrome browser with many flaws. It states that hackers can take advantage of these flaws and make access to the device and steal data. The agency has said that the Chrome running on the old version needs to be updated immediately. 134.0.6998.35 or older on Linux, 134.0.6998.35/36 or old on Windows, 134.0.6998.44/45 or older on MAC needs to be updated immediately. If these or old versions of Chrome are running in your device, then update to avoid cyber attack.

Warning was also released in January

Let us know that from time to time, it keeps on issuing warning with such flaws. In January, the agency released the old version from 132.0.6834.83/8R and a warning for users using an old version from 132.0.6834.110/111. Such flaws were found in these versions, with the help of which hackers could also bypass the security of the system. Along with individual users, there was a threat to organizations as well.

It is generally advised that users should keep updating Chrome and other apps at regular time. It not only gives the benefit of new features and can also get rid of any such flaw.
