New tax regime: After tax -free of annual income of up to 12 lakhs, most of the taxpayers of the country have no other measures but to adopt new tax regime. Because with standard deduction, the new tax regime will not usually allow any tax on annual income of up to 12 lakh 75 thousand. Just for this, after filling the income tax return, only the refund claim has to be submitted by submitting some important documents. Ravi Aggarwal, chairman of the Central Board of Direct Taxes i.e. CBDT, has expressed a similar hope. In an interview to PTI on Sunday, he said that 90 percent of the people will adopt New Tax Regime. Right now it is only 75 percent. He said that the new tax is very simple and easy to understand. It has no trap of exemption and deduction like Old Tax Reset. There is no need to run anywhere to understand it. Income tax returns can be filled in this without the help of any professional.
The objective is more and more tax collection without intervention
Ravi Aggarwal said that CBDT is working on many ways to make the path of tax payers easier. Artificial intelligence and human intelligence are being used to fill the country’s treasury. Income tax returns are also being checked by estimating this year’s income tax on the basis of last income tax return. It is to be known that CBDT i.e. Direct Tax Board is the regulatory body of the Income Tax Department. This board decides the plan to stop tax collection methods and tax evasion measures.
People of up to 25 lakhs also have a profit of 1.1 lakh
Ravi Aggarwal said that those with annual income of up to 25 lakh have also been given relief in income tax. They can save tax up to about one lakh 10 thousand rupees. This facility is also in the new tax regime.
