Support staff will handle coaching responsibilities
Team head coach Gautam Gambhir is not with Team India this time during the practice match in Canberra. He is in Delhi for family reasons. In the absence of coach Gautam Gambhir, the team’s support staff has taken over the responsibility of coaching. Assistant coaches Abhishek Nair, Ryan ten Doeschate, bowling coach Morne Morkel and fielding coach T. Dilip will guide the players. This warm-up match will be played with pink ball, which will prove helpful in the team’s preparations for the upcoming Adelaide Test.
