Jasprit Bumrah took 5 wickets for 30 runs in the first innings of Perth Test. Bumrah took 5 wicket haul for the 11th time in his Test career. Thanks to his sharp bowling, India achieved a significant lead of 46 runs in the first innings. Australia started playing at 67/7 on the second day. Bumrah gave the first blow of the day to Australia in the form of Alex Carey.

Harshit Rana, who was debuting in Test cricket, also performed well. He took 3 wickets and put more pressure on Australia’s innings. Rana took important wickets of Nathan Lyon and Mitchell Starc.
