His innings included 6 fours and 2 sixes. With this performance, he became the second youngest player to score a half-century in Test cricket for Australia.
The first number in this list is of Ian Craig, who scored a half-century in 1953 at the age of 17 years and 240 days. The third position is of Neil Harvey, who scored a half-century at the age of 19 years and 121 days and the fourth position is of Archie Jackson, who scored a half-century against England at the age of 19 years and 150 days.

Sam Constas has made a world record against India. He created history by scoring a half-century in his debut test match. Constance has become the youngest player to score a half-century on Test debut against India. Constus is the first cricketer to achieve this feat at the age of 19 years and 85 days. Before this, no player had scored a half-century in the debut match against India at such a young age.
Mushtaq Mohammad of Pakistan is the youngest player to score a half-century against India. He achieved this feat in the 1960-61 Test at the age of 17 years and 38 days. After him, in the 1952-53 Test, Hanif Mohammad of Pakistan scored a century against India at the age of 17 years and 300 days. However, both the players did not achieve these achievements in their debut match against India.
