Who is Gulzar?
Born on 18 August 1934 in Punjab, Sampooran Singh Kalra’s name is Gulzar. He started his career as a lyricist and today, apart from being a lyricist, he is also a poet, director and producer. Gulzar’s daughter Meghna Gulzar is also a film director who has made excellent films like ‘Sam Bahadur’, ‘Raazi’ and ‘Chhapaak’. Gulzar is the husband of yesteryear’s popular actress Rakhee.
