On the second day of the Brisbane Test, Jasprit Bumrah also made the record of the Indian bowler taking the maximum number of five-wicket hauls in SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia) countries. He has taken five wicket hauls 8 times so far in these four countries. He left Kapil Dev behind in this matter. Kapil Dev has taken five wicket hauls 7 times.
Bumrah spread the magic on Australian soil
Jasprit Bumrah has completed his 50 wickets in Test cricket on Australian soil by dismissing Australian bowler Mitchell Starc. With this achievement, he has become the second Indian bowler after Kapil Dev to do so. Bumrah has achieved this figure in 19 innings. Kapil Dev took 51 wickets in 21 innings in Australia. Now Bumrah is just two wickets away, due to which he will become the Indian bowler with the highest wicket taker in Test cricket in Australia.

Bumrah shines even in the calendar year
Bumrah achieved another achievement in this series. He became the third Indian bowler to take more than 50 Test wickets in a calendar year. Before him, Kapil Dev had achieved this feat twice (1979 and 1983) and Zaheer Khan in 2002.
