Video being privately shared with creators
YouTube has said that scammers are sharing this video privately. In this video, fake claims are being made regarding the monitization policy. In fact, scammers are looking to steal the personal information of the creators and hit the money through this video. The company said that in this fake video made from AI, Neil Mohan is shown talking about a change in the Monetiseesh policy. This is a fishing scam and avoid clicking on it. Clicking on the link can install malware in the device or the personal information of the creators may get scammers.
Company does not contact private video
YouTube said that its representatives never contact the creators through private videos. Many fishing scammers are looking to scam the creators by mimicking YouTube. Explaining the way of rescue, the company said that never trust such videos and do not click on any link from unknown person.
Emails came to many creators
According to media reports, many creators have such emails. These include a link for private videos, which is often a link to the malware site. In these emails, the recipes are asked to download the Malaysian files or to do OK to the new monetization policy.
