ENG Playing XI For 2nd Test Against PAK: The second match of the three-match Test series being played between England and Pakistan will be played from tomorrow i.e. Monday, October 15. England, which took a 1-0 lead in the series by winning the first Test, announced its playing eleven for the second Test. England’s permanent Test captain Ben Stokes returned in the second Test. Stokes missed the last four tests for England. A total of two changes were seen in the English team.
Ollie Pope was seen commanding the English team in the first test of the series against Pakistan. However, now Stokes has returned. In the second test, fast bowlers Gus Atkinson and Chris Woakes were given rest. Fast bowler Matt Potts returned to the team. Patts had earlier played the last test for the team against Sri Lanka in late August.

This is how England won the first test
Let us tell you that England had registered a spectacular victory in the first Test of the series played in Multan. In the match, Pakistan, batting first, had put 556/10 runs on the board. During this period, captain Shan Masood, Agha Salman and Abdullah Shafiq had played century innings.
Then in reply, England declared their innings after scoring 823/7 runs in their first innings. During this, Harry Brook scored a triple century (317) for England. Apart from this, Joe Root played an inning of 262 runs. Then in the second innings, Pakistan came out to bat and got all out for just 220 runs. In this way the English team won by an innings and 47 runs.
