Bcci new rules for ipl 2025: The IPL 2025 will start from March 22, but before that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made strict rules. From the practice of players to spending time with the players, things like spending time with their family are also reported to be banned. In clear terms, the BCCI is determined to eliminate ‘VIP culture’ inside the teams. BCCI contacted all 10 franchisees and has informed all team managers about new rules through e-mail.
Under the new rules, the family members of the players will not be able to go to the dressing room during the IPL matches. Even in practice sessions, there will be a ban on the arrival of support staff and family members.
Ban on family members
In the mail sent by the BCCI to the teams, it was written that during the practice session, the players will be allowed to go to the same staff who are recognized. At the same time, family members and friends of the players can reach the field by other vehicles and they can sit away and see the practice session. As far as the support staff is concerned, only after getting permission from BCCI, the players will be valid to take the members of the support staff with them.
Apart from this, many changes will be seen in the upcoming season. In practice sessions, both teams will be given 2 pitch for practice. Talking about the Wankhede Stadium, two teams will be given two pitch for practice. On the same day, no practice or fitness test will be conducted on that day. Players are not allowed to hit the ball towards LED boards. For the first time, warning will be given to do so, while repeatedly repeating this mistake will be punished.
