Bangladesh Crisis: 5th August proved to be a historic day for Bangladesh, when the country’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had to bow down to the public due to the violent student movement. She left the country with her younger sister and is taking refuge in India. The newspapers and media there are filled with news of violence and anarchy in the country. There was a time when Sheikh Hasina had banned Bollywood films in her country. The reason for this was to promote the film industry there and to promote the artists. However, when the ban was lifted from the film industry after 53 years, all three Khans dominated the theatres. Let us tell you.
Aamir Khan also dominated
In 2010, Bangladesh lifted the ban on Hindi films to promote films. After the ban was lifted, Aamir Khan’s film 3 Idiots and Shahrukh Khan’s film My Name is Khan were released in theatres. After the release of both the films, there was a lot of protest against the film in that country. After the protest against this film, Bollywood was again banned there. 3 Idiots is available on Prime Video and My Name is Khan is available on YouTube.
Pathan’s wonder in Bangladesh
In 2015, when Salman Khan’s film Wanted was released, the ban was temporarily lifted in the country. However, after this, the ban was again imposed there. About eight years after the release of Wanted, Bangladesh again lifted the ban on Hindi films and Shahrukh Khan’s Pathan was released in theaters. This film created a stir all over the world and collected 1050 crores worldwide. Both the films are available on Prime Video.
The three Khans are popular in Bangladesh
After this, when Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was released again in the year 2023, it was also released in Bangladesh. However, this film could not make a good collection in the country itself. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is available on Zee5. In this way, all three Khans dominated in Bangladesh and two films of Salman Khan, two of Shahrukh Khan and one of Aamir Khan captured the theatres.
