Bpl 2025 corruption: The situation of cricket in Bangladesh is not very good. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has prepared a special team for investigation, which will help the Anti Corruption Unit (ACU). This decision has been taken because a case of corruption has come up in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) recently. The current season of BPL is surrounded by corruption and ACU has found that at least 8 matches have come under suspicion. There is suspicion of spot fixing and match fixing.
Will 10 players and 4 teams fall on?
According to a report by a cricbage, the anti -corruption unit is suspicious of 10 players and four teams. A total of 7 teams play in this league, but more than half of the franchisees are under investigation in corruption case. All these 10 players and four teams are being monitored. An embarrassing topic is that out of the 10 cricketers under the investigation, 6 players have played for Bangladesh national team. These include 2 uncapricated Bangladeshi players and 2 foreign players.
According to media reports, the 6 matches on which the investigation is going on are:
- Fortune Varshl VS Monarchy (6 January)
- Rangpur Riders vs Dhaka (7 January)
- Dhaka vs Silhut (10 January)
- Rajshahi VS Dhaka (12 January)
- Chittagong vs Silhut (13 January)
- Varsha VS Open Tigers (22 January)
According to the cricbage, BCB President Farooq Ahmed said that whoever is found guilty on charges of corruption, strict action will be taken against him.
