Bajaj Housing Finance Share Price: Bajaj Housing Finance has announced quarterly results for the first time after listing on the stock exchange. In the second quarter of the financial year 2024-25, the company’s profit has increased by 21 percent to Rs 546 crore, which was Rs 451 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year. Revenue from operations has increased by 26 percent to Rs 2410 crore which was Rs 1911 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.
In a regulatory filing with the stock exchanges, Bajaj Housing Finance, while announcing its quarterly results, said that in the second quarter of the current financial year, the Net Interest Income (NII) of the company has increased by 13 percent to Rs 713 crore as compared to the same quarter last year. It was Rs 632 crore. Loan disbursement of Rs 12,014 crore has been seen in the second quarter of the current financial year, which was Rs 12,154 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.
The company said that there has been a growth of 24 percent in home loan growth, 18 percent growth in loan against property, 28 percent growth in lease rental discounting and 56 percent growth in developer finance. By September 30, 2024, the company’s assets under management have increased by 26 percent to Rs 1,02,569 crore, which was Rs 81,215 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.
The company said, in the second quarter of the financial year 2024-25, Bajaj Housing Finance has achieved two major milestones which include listing of the company on the stock exchange and secondly crossing Rs 1 lakh crore of assets under management. The company was listed after the IPO of Bajaj Housing Finance was launched on 16 September 2024.
There was a spectacular listing of Bajaj Housing Finance on the stock market in the second quarter. The company doubled the investors’ money on the very first day. With this explosive entry, the market value of the company crossed Rs 1 lakh crore in a single day. It has become the first housing finance company to achieve this milestone. On the very first day, the stock with the issue price of Rs 70 reached Rs 165 and gave a return of 136 percent to the investors. The stock has also made a high of Rs 188.50. On October 21, the share closed at Rs 136.58.
