Bad Newz Box Office Collection Day 2: Punjabi singer-actor Amy Virk’s film ‘Bad News’ starring Vicky Kaushal and Tripti Dimri has been released in theatres on July 19. After the trailer of the film was released, people were excited about the film which has now translated into increasing ticket sales.
This comedy film directed by Anand Tiwari is based on a medical condition called ‘Heteropaternal Superfecundation’. This film made on a different concept has now become one of those few films which brought new content and were also liked by the people.

According to SaccNilk, the film collected Rs 8.30 crore on the first day. The initial figures related to the film’s earnings on the second day have also come out and the film has earned more than the first day.
The film has collected 8.33 crores till 9:30 pm. The total collection of the film is 16.63 crores. However, these figures are not final. There can be changes in them now.
‘Bad News’ left behind many of Vicky Kaushal’s old films
The name of the film may be ‘Bad News’ but the film has brought good news for Vicky Kaushal. Before this, Vicky’s ‘Uri The Surgical Strike’ was his biggest opener, which earned Rs 8.20 crore on the first day. This film has surpassed ‘Uri’ in terms of first day collection.
Apart from this, some of her other previous hit films like ‘Sam Bahadur’ which earned 6.25 crores and ‘Raazi’ which earned 7.53 crores on the first day, have also lagged behind this film.
It can do wonders in the opening weekend
It has been only two days since the film was released. On the third day, Sunday, its earnings may increase and if this happens, then it is also possible that the film may become Vicky’s biggest film in terms of weekend collections.
