Babar Azam Resigns As Pakistan Captain: Pakistan cricket team’s star batsman Babar Azam has resigned from the captaincy for the second time. Babar was the captain of Pakistan’s ODI and T20. Even before this, he had resigned once, but he was made the captain again. This time Babar left the captaincy of Pakistan citing ‘workload’. On Wednesday, October 02, Babar shared the news of his resignation from captaincy with the fans. Babar wrote on social media, “Dear fans, I am sharing some news with you today. I have decided to resign from the post of captain of Pakistan men’s cricket team, which was informed to PCB and team management last month. Is effective from.”
Babar wrote, “It has been an honor to captain this team, but now the time has come for me to step down and concentrate on my playing role. Captaincy has been a rewarding experience, but it adds a significant workload.” “I want to give priority to my performance, enjoy my batting and spend time with my family, which makes me happy.”
