Ayesha did not even want to get married
Ayesha Jhulka once told ETimes in an interview, ‘I had actually decided that I would never get married. I felt that if I had not got married, I would have been able to do a lot of things. It is possible that the bad relationship I was in had such an effect on me.
I had told my family about my decision and they were okay with it, but one day my mother and sister met Sameer in a meditation class. They felt that Sameer was good for me. My mother and sister introduced us to each other and we instantly liked each other.
Sameer and Ayesha bear the expenses of 160 children
In the interview, Ayesha also told that she along with her husband bears the expenses of 160 children. She said, ‘I have seen many emotional ups and downs in life. When I told my husband what I think about children, he also agreed. When Sameer and I got married, we adopted 2 villages in Gujarat.
We are bearing the expenses of food and education of 160 children there. As far as motherhood is concerned, I cannot bring those 160 children to Mumbai and raise them. That is why I go to the village and enjoy that feeling. We have decided not to have children on our own and we are happy with it.
