Australia vs Sri Lanka Squad Announcement Test Series: The 2 test match series between Australia and Sri Lanka will start from January 29. Actually, Pat Cummins is soon going to become a father for the second time, due to which he has taken rest from the series against Sri Lanka. Under the captaincy of Cummins, Australia defeated Team India 3-1 in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Steve Smith has got the captaincy again, Travis Head will be the vice-captain of the Australian team. Nathan McSweeney, who made his debut in the series against India, has been given another chance. Sam Constance played a brilliant inning of 60 runs in his debut against Team India. However, after that he could not perform anything special. Nevertheless, he has been successful in securing a place in the team for the series against Sri Lanka.
Scott Boland, who took 10 wickets in the Sydney Test and 21 wickets in the entire series after playing 3 matches, will be handling the fast bowling.
