Talking about Test cricket, India has the lowest score made by any team in Adelaide. In the year 2020, Team India was all out for just 36 runs. Australia itself was reduced to just 82 runs on this ground, but this feat was done by West Indies.
India can break 32 years old record
Australia’s lowest score against India at Adelaide ground is 145 runs. In the year 1992, the Indian team under the captaincy of Mohammad Azharuddin was touring Australia. At that time, in the first innings of the fourth match of the series, the Kangaroo team was all out for just 145 runs. Now India has a chance to collapse the Australian innings cheaply again like in the Perth Test. If host Australia gets all out on a score of less than 145, then Team India can destroy the 32 year old record.
Let us remind you that even in the first match of the current series, the Indian team was out on a score of only 150, but in reply, the Australian team was reduced to 104 runs in front of the deadly Indian bowling. It is also worth noting that till date Australia has been out only once on a score of less than 100 in Adelaide. Therefore, getting him all out on a score of 100 runs or so will prove to be a very difficult task for the Indian bowlers.
