Pakistan Pacer Naseem Shah: Pakistan’s star fast bowler Naseem Shah will be seen playing in the first match of the two-match Test series against Bangladesh from Wednesday, August 21. Earlier, Naseem played his last Test for Pakistan in July 2023. Now, before his return to Test cricket after about a year, Naseem Shah spoke openly in an interview. He said that sometimes it feels like I am playing two matches simultaneously.
In an interview with ‘Cricbuzz’, Naseem Shah talked about pressure. He told how many things go on behind the scenes in the life of a cricketer.
Shah said, “There is a lot going on behind the scenes in a cricketer’s life that people don’t know about. Sometimes, you just look for small moments of happiness. My father is suffering from some ailments. There was a time when he knew nothing about cricket, but now he watches every ball and gets upset when we lose. So before every big match, I call my brother to make sure our father doesn’t watch it. I fear this may cause some major health problem. It’s like I am playing two matches at a time.”
