Arshad Warsi Clarification On Calling Prabhas Joker: Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi had to face a lot of trolling some time ago for calling Prabhas ‘Joker’. Many South actors had hit back at Arshad and Prabhas’s fans also did not like this comment. Now Arshad has clarified his statement after trolling and said that he had not called Prabhas ‘Joker’.
According to news agency ANI, Arshad Warsi said- ‘Everyone has their own viewpoint and people like to express their noise. I said about the character, not about that person. He (Prabhas) is a brilliant actor and has proved himself time and again and we know about it. And when we give a bad character to a good actor, it is heartbreaking for the audience.
When Arshad Warsi called Prabhas ‘Joker’
Let us tell you that in an interview given to Samdish Bhatia, Arshad Warsi had given a review of Prabhas’s film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. He had said that he did not like the film and Prabhas’ character seemed like ‘Joker’ to him. Arshad had said- ‘I saw Kalki, I did not like it. I felt a lot of pain. Prabhas, I am really sad, why was he… he was like a ‘joker’. Why? I want to watch Mad Max. I want to see Mel Gibson there. What have you done to him friend, why do you do this? I don’t understand.’
South Stars gave a befitting reply
After this statement of Arshad Warsi, many South stars came out in support of Prabhas. Many celebrities including actor Nani, Sudhir Babu and director Ajay Bhupathi had hit back at Arshad. Whereas ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ director Nag Ashwin had responded to Arshad by posting a post on X. He had written- ‘Arshad Saheb should have chosen his words better. But that’s okay. Sending budgie toys to my kids. I will work hard so I tweet that Prabhas was the best till date in K2.
