Pushpa: The Rule Success: Actor Siddharth, famous for his work in films like ‘Rang De Basanti’, ‘Jigarthanda’, has termed the success of the recently released Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ as purely marketing. He said that this is not a big deal.
Siddharth recently gave an interview which is becoming increasingly viral. In this, he is seen comparing Pushpa 2 with the roadside construction done by JCB machines. Actually, the actor was referring to the chaos that broke out in Patna’s historic Gandhi Maidan on November 17. Where a huge crowd had gathered to get a glimpse of the film’s lead actors Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna.
Actor called Pushpa 2 as marketing
He told Tamil YouTuber Madan Gauri, ‘This is all marketing. Gathering crowd is not a big deal in India. You bring a JCB for construction and the crowd automatically gathers. Therefore gathering crowd in Bihar is not a big deal. There is no relation between drawing big crowds and quality in India. If that were the case, all political parties would be winning. In our days, this crowd used to be for biryani and quarter packet (liquor).
Let us tell you that Pushpa was released on 5th December. The film is being appreciated a lot. Like the film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, released in December 2021, it is also making waves at the box-office. Pushpa: The Rule starts from where Pushpa: The Rise ended. In this, Telugu superstar Allu Arjun is in the role of Pushpa Raj. Rashmika Mandanna is in the female lead role. Fans liked the chemistry of both of them in the film.
‘Pushpa: The Rule’ has so far earned Rs 1000 crore worldwide.
