Allu Arjun News: Telangana High Court has granted interim bail to Telugu film actor Allu Arjun in the case related to the death of a woman in the stampede during the premiere of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theatre, Hyderabad.
In this case, the Lower Court of Hyderabad had earlier given its decision to send him to judicial custody for 14 days shortly after his arrest. However, soon after this the High Court granted interim bail to the actor for 4 weeks. Let us tell you that immediately after his arrest, Allu Arjun had filed a petition in the High Court requesting immediate hearing.
What did the Telangana High Court say?
While ordering 4-week interim bail to the Pushpa 2 actor, the Telangana High Court cited the right to liberty and said, “Just because he is an actor, he cannot be kept like this”.
Let us tell you that the Lower Court had also rejected the petition to delay his arrest till Monday.
Allu Arjun was arrested from his house
Allu Arjun was arrested from his Jubilee Hills home at Chikkadpally police station. His arrest took place when he was present at home with his family. Let us tell you that a case of culpable homicide and voluntarily causing hurt was registered against Allu Arjun.
In the complaint of the husband of the deceased woman, it was said that the theater management and the actor had not informed the police about his presence during the special screening of the film. However, the theater management has issued a request application letter stating that they had informed the police about this on December 2 and on December 4 and 5.
The deceased’s husband said- ready to withdraw the case
During this, the deceased’s husband said that Allu Arjun has nothing to do with this stampede case. And he is ready to withdraw the case. Let us tell you that in the stampede that took place on December 4, a woman died and her two children also had to be admitted to the ICU. After this, Allu Arjun released a video expressing grief over the incident and promised to give Rs 25 lakh to the victim’s family.
