Akshay Kumar-Ajay Devgn On Actors High Fees: Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan are in the headlines these days for their film ‘Singham Again’. Ajay was seen in ‘Singham’ avatar once in the film, while Akshay played a cameo in the film. Meanwhile, both of them talked about the fees paid to actors for their films in today’s times. He has revealed that sometimes he does not get any fee if the films flop.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan were asked that the budget of films increases because nowadays actors are charging huge fees. On this Ajay Devgan replied- ‘Actors take fees as per the script, films and projects and most of us are taking fees as per the recovery.’
‘We don’t get any money’
Akshay Kumar also answered openly on the question of expensive fees of actors. The actor said- ‘I agree with most of what he (Ajay Devgan) said. If we sign a film today, we don’t charge anything. We just take shares. If it works, we get a share in the profits, but if it doesn’t, we don’t get any money.
Actors work even without fees
After this Ajay Devgan told that sometimes he does not even get the share and he has to work without any fee. Ajay said- ‘Sometimes no share is even available. Then you have to give up the fees, this is also passion.
Singham Again has earned more than 200 crores
Let us tell you that the film ‘Singham Again’, made under the direction of Rohit Shetty, was released on 1 November. The film is performing well at the box office and has collected more than Rs 200 crore so far in India.
