Akshay Kumar On Film Selection: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Sarfira’ was released recently. It has become difficult for this film to get audience in theatres. This film, made in about Rs 80 crore, has not been able to recover even 25 percent of its budget in 12 days.
Akshay Kumar has worked with Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal in this film. The audience liked the story of the film and also the amazing chemistry between Akshay and Radhika. However, the earnings of the film disappointed everyone. Meanwhile, now the superstar has said in an interview on the selection of films that he has already become aware about film selection.
Akshay became more aware of films
Akshay Kumar recently gave an interview to Forbes India. During this, the actor was asked, ‘Has he made any changes in the selection of his films?’ On this, the actor said, ‘The pandemic (Corona) has undoubtedly changed the dynamics of the film industry. With the audience being more selective about watching cinema, it has become important to choose projects that offer something completely entertaining and incredible.
I have become more conscious about content, ensuring that it is in sync with the times and delivers an experience that justifies the trip to the theatre. It’s about finding stories that not only entertain but also connect deeply with the audience.’
My biggest strength is my discipline
Further, Akshay Kumar also discussed about his discipline. He said that my biggest strength is my discipline. In a conversation with Forbes India, the actor said, ‘My biggest strength has been my discipline and work policy. I work on a time table… I sleep, eat and work at a particular time, and shoot for hours.
I have been following this for years. My longevity in the industry has also played an important role in keeping me mentally and physically fit. The genuine love for what I do motivates me to continue making films on which the livelihood of many people depends. Also, the support and love of my fans fuels my passion in this journey.
