Akash Deep On Mohammed Shami Advice: Akash Deep is currently playing for India A in the Duleep Trophy 2024. Meanwhile, Akash has also been selected for Team India in the first match of the Test series to be played against Bangladesh. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced Team India for the first Test against Bangladesh last Sunday (September 08), in which Akash Deep’s name was also included. Akash took 9 wickets in the first match of the Duleep Trophy. He told how the advice of experienced fast bowler Mohammed Shami came in handy for him.
Akash Deep said that his bowling is somewhat similar to Mohammad Shami’s bowling. Due to this, Akash got a lot of help from Mohammad Shami’s advice. After taking 9 wickets in the Duleep Trophy match, Akash talked about the advice given by Shami.
Aakash said, “I take inputs from Shami as our bowling action is quite similar. I asked him how to get the ball out while bowling around the wicket to a left-handed batsman. Shami told me not to force it, as it will happen naturally.”
Let us tell you that Akash took 4 wickets in the first innings of the Duleep Trophy match. Then in the second innings, he opened his claws and took 9 wickets in the entire match

It is worth noting that Akash Deep has played one Test for India. Akash made his Test debut in February 2024 against England. He took 3 wickets in his only Test.
