TRAI had given the order in December
The telecom regulator had ordered all telecom companies to introduce voice-only recharge plans on December 23, 2024. For this the companies were given one month’s time. TRAI had said that along with their existing recharge plans, companies will also have to bring such plans which have the benefits of voice calling and SMS. Such plans are necessary for those who do not need data. Along with feature phone users, people using 2 SIMs will also benefit from it.
Vi launched a plan of Rs 1460
Vi has introduced a plan of Rs 1460. Unlimited calling and 100 SMS are available in this. After the limit of 100 free SMS is reached, a charge of Re 1 per SMS will be taken. The validity of this plan is 270 days.
Jio launched these plans
Jio has launched plans of Rs 458 and Rs 1,958. The validity of the Rs 458 plan is 84 days. In this you will get free calling and total 1000 SMS. The plan of Rs 1,958 will be valid for 365 days. In this you will get free calling and total 3,600 SMS.
Airtel also brought 2 plans
Airtel is offering unlimited calling and 900 SMS for 84 days in the Rs 509 plan. Whereas in the plan of Rs 1,999, users will get unlimited calling and 3,000 SMS with a validity of one year.
