After the Delhi Capitals account was hacked, some suspicious links were also shared from the official Twitter handle of Rajasthan Royals, which are said to be linked to a cryptocurrency platform called “Radium”. This was the same link that was earlier shared from the Delhi Capitals account. This incident points to a similar cyber attack on both the franchises, in which an attempt was being made to target the fans.

cyber security question
The hacking of the accounts of Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals has raised questions on the cyber security of IPL teams. These teams have millions of followers on their social media accounts, so incidents like hacking can not only harm the image of the teams but can also pose a threat to the data of the fans. Now it remains to be seen how the franchises deal with this situation and what steps they take to avoid such incidents in the future.
