Aakash Chopra On Rohit Sharma Missing BGT Test: There are strong reports about Indian captain Rohit Sharma that he may miss a test in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy to be played in Australia. The captain missing one test in the series can prove to be a big problem for Team India. Now this news has been further confirmed by former Indian cricket team batsman Akash Chopra.
Aakash Chopra said that I can confirm that there is such news. However, he also mentioned that no official confirmation has been made yet. He talked about this on his YouTube channel.
Aakash Chopra said, “This will affect our sentiments a bit. There is news about Rohit Sharma. It did not come from the official source, but I can definitely say that there is news. It could be the first or second Test. Since it is a private Due to some reasons, it was also said that he may be available for the entire series.”
Keeping this news in mind, Aakash Chopra remembered how last time (during the series in Australia) Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were not present for Team India. He said, “He (Rohit Sharma) was injured last time and came straight to play the Sydney Test. He was not present in Adelaide and did not play the Melbourne Test. Virat Kohli played the Pink Ball Test and after that was available for three Tests. Here also Rohit Sharma may not be available for one of the first two Tests. It will be a big loss.”
Trophy will start from 22nd November
