Raayan Box Office Collection Day 2: South star Dhanush’s Tamil action-drama ‘Raayan’ has taken over the theatres. The film was released worldwide on July 26 and it had a strong opening. Released in three languages, ‘Raayan’ became the best opener of Dhanush’s career with its first day collection. Now, in just two days, the film has earned around Rs 30 crore.
According to the data of SaccNilk, ‘Ryan’ opened at the box office with 13.65 crores on the first day. Before this, no film of Dhanush had earned so much on the first day at the box office. And now on the second day, ‘Ryan’ has collected Rs 13.85 crores. With this, the film has done a total business of Rs 27.5 crores in two days at the domestic box office.

‘Ryan’ defeated ‘Captain Miller’
Dhanush’s film ‘Raayan’ has been released in only three languages - Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The film has surpassed his hit film ‘Captain Miller’ by collecting more than Rs 27 crore in two days. ‘Captain Miller’ was released in theatres on 12 January this year. This film earned Rs 8.7 crore on the first day and Rs 7.45 crore on the second day, i.e. a total of Rs 16.15 crore in two days.
