Ingredients for making Rajgira Kheer
To make Rajgira Kheer, you will need some ingredients. Like, 1 cup Rajgira, 1 liter milk, one teaspoon sugar, one teaspoon cardamom powder, one cup chopped dry fruits and 1 tablespoon ghee. You can easily make Rajgira Kheer using all these ingredients.
How to make Rajgira Kheer
To make Rajgira Kheer, first of all you have to wash Rajgira with clean water and soak it in water for 30 to 40 minutes. Now heat some ghee in a pan. As soon as the ghee gets heated, add some dry fruits in it and let them turn golden. When the dry fruits turn light golden, then add the soaked Rajgira in it.
Add sugar and cardamom powder
Now add water and milk to it and boil it well. After at least 40 minutes, when the Rajgir becomes soft, then add sugar and cardamom powder to it and mix well. After this, boil this kheer on medium flame for 10 minutes. After some time, turn off the gas and take out this kheer in a bowl.
Use of dry fruits
Now add finely chopped dry fruits on top and then you can eat this kheer. To make the kheer more delicious, you can also use saffron and rose water in it. Rajgira kheer is a delicious dish for fasting.
