Speaking to ‘Indian Express’, Bumrah said, “We as a team cannot leave any individual behind. We are there for each other. We are trying to help each other. I have played a lot of cricket with Hardik but this could be a young player. It is us against the world. You don’t want to introduce too much. We were together and helping him when needed.
Bumrah further said, “But then your inner circle helps. We as a team do not promote it. We were with him as a team. We were talking to him. His family will always be there. Some things are out of control. When we won the World Cup, this story changed.”
