Delhi Capitals on Friday appointed spin all -rounder Akshar Patel as the captain of the team. With this, the captains of all 10 teams were confirmed.

In IPL 2025, Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants, Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders will land with the new captain. Delhi has given the command of Akshar Patel, Lucknow to Rishabh Pant, Punjab Kings to Shreyas Iyer, RCB to Rajat Patidar and KKR has given the command of the team to Ajinkya Rahane.

18th season will start from 22 March
